Anchuca Historic Mansion

circa 1830


This antebellum mansion was originally constructed in the late 1820s, but was later upgraded with Greek revival styling in the late 1840s by wealthy Vicksburg residents, Jane and Victor Wilson. Anchuca’s visitors are treated to plantation breakfasts each day.


Anchuca is in historic "Old Town," within walking distance to museums, churches, antique shops, art galleries and other attractions. All major credit cards are accepted.

  • McNutt House Tour Home

    At nearly two centuries old, the McNutt House – named for Alexander McNutt, Mississippi’s 12th governor – is one of the oldest in Vicksburg. Tours are offered daily, by appointment, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
