An Advanced Sushi Workshop presented by William Furlong will be from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center, 1302 Adams Street. The workshop will introduce knife skills and teach the proper way of selecting and cutting fish. Students will learn with hands-on experience as he introduces advanced sushi techniques in preparing Nigiri, Urmaki, and Temaki. He will also discuss sushi preparation terms and give several pointers for students that want to learn more. This workshop is geared toward past participants of the beginner workshops. Registration is $35/SCHF members and $40/non-members and includes all supplies. Space is limited and reservations are required.
