Why Meet in Vicksburg?
Motivated Attendees
Every city has meeting facilities and hotel rooms. However, Vicksburg has charm and personality, which can only be told by the River that birthed her, the Mighty Mississippi. From its beginning, settlers have come to Vicksburg to conduct business on the River. Your attendees and exhibitors will feel the uniqueness, which is only Vicksburg as they experience a delightful blend of old and new. Here you'll find, a dedicated community looking forward to exceeding the needs of all our customers one visit at a time. Plan your Familiarization visit to our city.

Central Location
It's easy to get to Vicksburg because the city is located on a major east-west artery, U.S. Interstate 20, and is just a half hour from U.S. Interstate 55, the north-south corridor of Middle America. Vicksburg is also located on legendary U.S. Highway 61, the Great River Road, which leads to historic Port Gibson, Natchez and St. Francisville to the south and to the famed Mississippi Delta to the north. Flying is convenient, with the Jackson International Airport just 50 minutes away. For those with private planes, the Vicksburg Municipal Airport and the Vicksburg-Tallulah Regional Airport are less than 10 minutes from downtown. Memphis and New Orleans are approximately 200 miles to the north and south, respectively, and Vicksburg is roughly midway between Dallas and Atlanta.
