The 45^th Annual Vicksburg Run Thru History 10-K road race, 5-K walk, and 1-mile fun run will be from 8:00 am until 11:00 am at Vicksburg National Military Park, 3201 Clay Street, with the post-race party at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 3330 Clay Street. The Cannonball Run will host a School Challenge for all Warren County elementary schools. The school with the most children participating on race day will receive a $200 gift certificate for their PE department. The Cannonball 1 Miler begins at 9:00 am. The 5-k walk will begin at 8:49 am, and the 10-k walk will start at 8:30 am. The 10-K run and 5-K race walk entry fees are $30 each. The entry fee for the Cannonball 1 Miler is free. Live post-race music will be from The Chill. Late registration and packet pickup will be Friday night at the Hampton Inn from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. There will be a free registration for a bus tour of the entire park after the event. Participants will also get a Run Thru History shirt (first 700 guaranteed) and hot dogs, fruit, water, sports drinks & beer.
