About
A long, wide stairway leads to the wrought-iron laced porch surrounding the main doorway of this magnificent mansion situated in the historic district of Vicksburg. Considered to be one of the finest examples of Palladian architecture in the state, it escaped destruction during and after the Civil War’s siege by serving as a hospital for Confederate and Union soldiers.
