Vicksburg Bicentennial celebration
The Vicksburg 200 Committee is an organization of city officials and business and civic leaders planning the bicentennial commemoration of Vicksburg’s formation in 1825.
Activities being planned prior to and throughout 2025 feature community engagement, education and entertainment as well as events designed to attract tourists and other visitors to Vicksburg.

Call for Artists
Artists wanting to submit camera-ready graphic designs that are appropriate for printed materials, signage and wearing apparel can go to Vicksburg.org, click here directly, or follow the QR code below to submit your design.
Design Requirements:
- The logo must include the word Vicksburg, the word Mississippi, and the number 200 and/or the word Bicentennial.
- The deadline for submission is September 15, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.
Committee members will narrow the selections, offering the public an opportunity to vote for the final logo design. The winning logo will be unveiled in late October.
